1. History Lesson Part 2 – Minutemen – In the band claim they could be your by explaining how other bands changed their lives.

2. 1 + 1 – Beyonce – Absolute killer, a terrific slab of soul with a tender, gorgeous vocal. Beyonce is beginning to live up to all the claims and the sorry story is that now she is emerging as a pop artists, all the people who overrated her have nowhere to go. THIS IS WHY YOU DON'T GET SWEPT INTO HYPE. The Sasha Fierce album was nothing much and I don't know how the liars who over rated because of "Single Ladies" are gonna deal with this, the best soul song of the year.

3. Time – Modern hut – TONIGHT!!! Can't wait to see em at Maxwells…

4. Kung Fu Fighting – Carl Douglas – What a wonderful one hit to stake your career on.

5. Kiss And Say Goodbye – Kate And Anna McGarrigle – I can't recommend Tell Your Sister highly enough and this is a wonderful singer-songwriter as a folkie kinda Cali kick. Because of the piano.

6. Don't Drink The Water (feat Blake Shelton) – South of the border down Mexico, Paisley needs to get away after a break up. Good song -especially the fiddle.

7. I'm The One – DJ Khaled

8. Rise Above (feat bono and the Edge) – Reeves Carney – I just don't get it. How could U2 hang Spiderman with this unlistenable mush Sample lyric? "How long will it take for these feelings to go away…", "Silence in a crowded" … "I was too fast traveling to take you in…" This isn't songwriting, it is exposition, with as much poetry in the words as art in the music. A sin against God. Their worst song since No Horizon.

9.She – Tyler, The Conqueror

10. Bloody Mary – Lady Gaga – No, honestly, you'll love the album.
