At the risk of getting caught short by another unexpected gem (Portishead immediately found its way on here since yesterday!!) this appears to be my top singles of 2009.
I used to think the concept of the less than three minute single was the essense of pop music. Than I thought it was an excuse for a video to sell more copies of the album. Now it appears to be a chance to be either a) a preview of the upcoming album, b) in place of the upcoming album, c) MORE BASS (otherwise known as the remix), or d) none of the above
