"Sold Out" can be a blessing or a curse, depending on which side of the fence you are looking on from. If you havent bought your Hangout Fest ticket yet, (boo hoo for you) then "Sold Out" is a bad thing. However, if you were one of the lucky 35,000 to acquire one, or are by chance of the many Hangout Fest producer, than "Sold Out" is like Christmas in the summer, or rather the spring time. In case you were wondering, I fall in the later category. YESS!!
The 2nd annual Hangout Music festival located on the beach in Alabama, which takes place from May 20-22nd, featuring over 70 bands including Paul Simon, Foo Fighters, Widespread, My Morning Jacket, Flaming Lips, Black Lips, Grammy award winning Ce Lo Green, and the Avett Brothers, is officially SOLD OUT.
“We are thrilled by the response from music fans around the country,” says Hangout founder Shaul Zislin. “We sold tickets in all 50 US states including Hawaii and Alaska – and even abroad. The entire community is looking forward to hosting our guests.”
The unique concert beach setting, which I am ever so stoked for, combines sand and sun with a sophisticated urban-festival experience. Over 10,000 condo units and hotel rooms surrounding the festival, I will be brushing the dust off my tent, and setting up camp next to a friends RV, for showers and kitchen use, a wonderful festival accommodation that the premier location of Hangout lets you enjoy.
