With the world of jazz festivals falling apart in nyc -last year saw none, I am happy to report that June 2011 finds the famous jazz label Blue Note starting their own.
The usual unusual tons of local venues will have jazz performers, and apparently Brian Wilson's $125 Highline Ballroom folly will be one of them. with a who's who (though no Marsalis!) of current jazz giants…
