That is as much a case of shark jumping as I can imagine.
I just don't care that it is the highest rated show in the States: sure a 20 rating is impressive, but it is not the 40 rating Uncle Miltie use to pull now is it? And even if it was, shouldn't Gaga be a little, how you say, transgressive? How did she go from unknown entity to the edgy pop star of your dreams to a bore in three years?
because she is a bore now.
My friend John Duffin just FB'd me to mention that while the set pieces on her HBO special were excellent, the rest of it was a straight drag.
I think Lady Gaga has a helluva lot riding on the new album.
