Am I missing something here? Susan Boyle’s I Dreamed A Dream entered the US Album charts at number one with an outrageous 700,000 sales, beating out Rihanna’s Rated R in at number four and Lady Gaga’s The Monster in at number five.
The succes of the Susan is all a little weird to me: she is a pleasant enough singer but a bit of a sleepy time thing. Maybe it’s a question of demographic? The world (by which I mean the West -the dearth of condoms since the Shah got ditched means the great empire of Persia has a means age of twenty-five)
