Two years ago today, I started rock nyc as a music blog by a guy who listens to ridiculous amounts of music.
Two years on and it isn't that but it isn't what it is becoming either.
What I (actually we) are trying to do right now is post a rock and roll daily filled with reviews, interviews, and opinions. Since for now we are beholden to no one at all, we can rank on the rock star hypocrites -the sacred cows.
But rock nyc is evolving into something else and in time we will tell you more about it and here is a clue, Joseph Mcelroy wants the readers deeply involved in the process.
The other day Helen and I were reminiesing about the early days: when it was just a handful of people arguing about music. How really, we didn't even realize anybody was reading!
It isn't that now, but I hope rock nyc always retains the feel of just a buncha people arguing about music.
