Live Nation have cancelled their Live Aid type charity extravaganza concert because they couldn't get any big names to sign up.
A spokesperson said: " "Unfortunately, with now only 13 days to go to the proposed Concert For Japan, sadly we are in a position where we have been unable to secure the artists required to produce the worldwide TV broadcast that we had hoped for and have therefore very reluctantly decided to proceed no further."
Begging the question as to whether the celebrity community are finally sick of signing up for every other benefit with no idea who is getting the money raised or what they are doing with it.
Which reminds me, where is Bono in all this? Let me guess, getting around to writing a song perole can hum for Spiderman? He hasn't done it for years so he might bfind it difficult!!
