Panic At The Disco's "Vices and Virtues" Reviewed

Panic! At The Disco came out with a new album tiled Vices & Virtues.  With only half the band remaining, I expected Brendon and Spencer to give up.  When I heard they made this album, I can say that I was kind of dreading the expected change for the worst.  I passed judgement on this incredible album way too early.

"Let's Kill Tonight" starts out as one of those songs I completely dread sitting through it's so bad.  As soon as it hits right before the chorus, I'm sucked in.  It changes from the tinny fake feel to an advanced dancy and intriguing song.  The beat is absolutely addicting and makes this song one that no one should judge too quickly.

"Trade Mistakes" really shows off Brendon Urie's voice.  His range is fascinating and this song is beautifully written.  The song started off as nice and peaceful and moderately…boring, really.  Slowly but surely it built up and became captivating.  This song is lovely.

"The Calendar" is my favourite song on this album.  The lyrics make me smile and everything about it is so perfect.  I always get completely lost in this song.  It's overwhelming how flawless and unique it is.  Probably one of Panic!'s best songs.

"Oh Glory [Demo](" is insane.  I don't think I've ever felt the urge to stupidly dance/flail my arms wildly this strongly with any other Panic! song in the history of the world.  It's so catchy and fun and excitingly wonderful.  P!ATD has some serious talent and this song is no exception.  It's very different from any other tune they've done before, but it's a good different.  The uniquity of it is glorious.

Vices & Virtues is one of those albums that will be on repeat for weeks and weeks to come.
