. Please Call Home – The Allman Brothers – Off the excellent 2000 live at the Beacon album. A blues country beaut with more restraint than I bet they showed tlast night at the same venue.
2. I'd Love To Be Your Last – Gretchen Wilson
3. Against The Wind – Bob Seger – Proto-Springsteen rip and instant classic classic rock.
4. No Sleep – Wiz Khalifa – The motherfucking recipe. Should hit.
5. Let's Face The Music And Dance – Fred Astaire – A dream of nyc style unimaginable today.
6. Beautiful (feat Benny Benassi) – Chris Brown – The dance producer giant helms the best song on the album, an extravagant, exceptional groove
7. Tremel – Glasser – Alyson caught this band back in September and found them a little boring (I paraphrase but that's what she meant). They use a synth guitar and a guitar to meld African rhythms to lo-fi vocals. "Soothing and fragile" Aly wrote. I agree… Without the soothing.
8. Tears – Marsha Ambrosius – Song of the year? Maybe. Could be.
9. Best Love Song – T. Pain
10. I Smile – Kirk Franklin – Why has Kirk chosen to let his chick back-up singers hijack his album???
