Firmly in the running to win the award as best rock band of the year Titus Andronicus are playing a New Year’s Day at 130am at Mercury Lounge so if you are still bouncing around the city post Midnight you know exactly where to head.
I haven’t seen em since the Whitney gig this summer so I am not sure, but are there many new songs? How’s the new album going or isn’t it? On youtube there is “No Future Part 3: Escape From No Future” (not its real name, some wag christined it…) which sounds like a pile of feedback but may have more going for it. It is a little hard to tell on the crap sounding version i’ve heard.
