I am not the target audience for the Twilight Saga’s latest episode New Moon though I didn’t dislike the first movie and I dont dislike this tween romance retelling of Romeo And Shakespeare.
However I have never seen a worse use of background rock music in my life. Around six songs are used in the film and they are all dreadful. A particularly malignant as a dreary song (it’s on the loathsome soundtrack but I can’t remeber which one) to ilustrate a dreary Bella drear and tear for her lost bloodsucker as the months slip by.Not sure what song. Might be Grizzly Bear it is not Anya Marina -the best moment on both soundtracks combined..
Taylor Swift completely nailed all the brooding and long looks on SNL the other week. New Moon is more of the same with a worse sondtrack.
