1. The Boat That I Row – Neil Diamond – I know Lulu’s hit cover, but Neil does a tremendous job on deepening it out. The entire Bang Years album is incredible and I am working up to a review
2. Big Money – Tinie Tempeh – Made him a star in the UK, and shows enough promise (the man has flow) to have started him on his way to the US. Personally, I prefer it to the new stuff I’ve heard.
3. Good For You (I Would Be) – Nive Neilsen – Actually more pop than folk.
4. Tell Laura I Love Her – Ray Peterson – Cool death rock from the early 60s. That’s a genre that should make a comeback or ressurection if you prefer.
5. With You – Marsha Ambrosius
6. Do re Mi/ABC – BRO – This is just perfection. I seamless, extremely fun, and very very clever mash up of Sounth Of Music and Jackson 5. Just wait till you hear it.
7. Teen Angel – Mark Denning – Why, oh why did she go back? For his High School ring? We’ll never know but she was clutching the ring in her hand when they found her body.
8. Cmon Everybody – Eddie Cochran
9. The Downfall Of Us – A Day To Remember – Poppy
10. Digging For Something – Superchunk – It could be the thing to get us fixed…
