Instead Beck keeps on extending himself.
The Fiery Furnaces Matt Friedberger misread the title of Radioheads ode to the last surviving soldier from World War One, “Harry Patch” thinking it was about a minimalist composer Harry Partch.
Matt released this statement: “Matt would have much preferred to insult Beck but he is too afraid of Scientologists”.
So… must I continue? Beck is posting a song called “Harry Partch” today. Here’s the Beck quote: “It’s a tribute to the composer and his desire to make the body and music unified into what he termed ‘Corporeality. The song employs Partch’s 43-tone scale, which expands conventional tonality into a broader variation of frequencies and resonances.”
This is officilly the most boring post I’ve ever written.
Somebody should sit Beck down and explain to him that he simply isn’t good enough to post every song he writes. This shit takes time to ferment, it takes work, Odelay wasn’t made in a day.
