Spotify are the least customer friendly outfit in the world. You gotta problem with their app? Tough luck, go deal with it yourself, they don’t give a rat’s ass. It is one reason they might go under. They just don’t give a damn about the customer, you are, simply, on your own.
You used to able to right click on your play list, automatically copy the embedded code, and add it to your story. You can’t do that any more, an update last week ended it. Why? What now? Surely Spotify want nothing more than playlists being added to posts, the name of the game is stream. Who knows? Who knows what happened ? It is like that scene from “Goodfellas”
You can’t add your playlist to Word Press? Fuck you, pay me.
You can no longer alphabitize your search results? Fuck you, pay me.
Your account has disappeared? Fuck you, pay me.
You can’t get an answer, you can’t find a phone number, you can’t talk to any one. Every question has the same reply: Fuck you, pay me. No wonder they can’t get past their demographic, no wonder nobody understands what’s going on, they won’t explain themselves; they are like human bots, a money eating machine and if you can’t use it, if Spotify confuses you, you are screwed.
There was this study done about doctors who get sued for malpractise and what they found was that doctor’s who were kind to their patient’s were not sued, it was the one’s who were dicks. The moral: if you are nice to folks you won’t get sued for malpractise. The same goes for everything else in life, if Spotify had a human face, once Apple came to beat em, people would show loyalty.
Who would show loyalty to Spotify? They don’t exist as human beings. There screens and screens of info with “Does this solve your problem?” at the bottom and if it doesn’t solve your problem? More info. There is no place where it stops, there is no hitting zero for operator, there isn’t even the irritating script readers at Apple to vent on: “I can see how that is frustrating, I will certainly try and fix it for you.”
