“I think it’s inappropriate for any artist to take somebody else’s moment and make it their own. In that particular moment you’re basically saying that everything that Beck’s done to be in that position is negated because in your own mind it’s not relevant to you, or your own thing. I didn’t think that’s the moment to do it.

But to jump on stage and steal that moment, to re-appropriate it in your own way I think is inappropriate.” He added, ““I’ve been on that podium too and if someone got up on my stage I’d knock them out. Look, West is maybe the greatest hip hop star of the 21st Century and I can’t wait for his new album, and Billy Corgan, quoted above, is the definition of a hasbeen, and for goodish reason (personally, I loved the last Smashing Pumpkins album but even so, it sure wasn’t Yeezus) but he is absolutely right in these comments made on Aussie TV.
West is a horrible little man, he is really an egocentric, nasty, small minded self important fuck face and there is nothing, nothing at all, for him or anybody else to gain, in these repulsive fits of egocentricity and ego. Beyonce has a husband if she needs defending, which she doesn’t need at all. How much is enough?
How much more money, awards, congratulations, do rock stars need to justify their repulsive, greedy lifestyles? When is enough enough, when do they fall to earth and start acting like decent human beings. What is left of Kanye between his wife and daughter, his dead mom and his dead brained fashion.
