Some days are better music days than others.
In real time, I am dealing with a family crises, yesterday (Friday), I had a great, like ridiculously good, live music night.
After a business meeting with Joe, Mike and Donna, I was wondering if I wanted to slog down to the Village to see Twin Tigers. This despite asking Christen of Daffodils to put me on the guest list.
Me? I’m a moralist and if I blow off a gig I said I’d review I feel like crap. So I slogged through slush, got on the subway, got off at 4th, and saw this aboslutely terrificalt country band called Runaway Dorothy.
They were playing “Folsom Prisom”.
And they were very good.
