Writing about music is a lot like sex… I know I SAID it is like masturbation and it is but it is like sex on this way… OK, lemme think.
When you get to my age you’ve done everything at least once when it comes to sex (when I was 26 years old I made out with an 80 year old woman one New Year’s Eve… I do mean everything) so your tastes get kinda, how you say, eclectic.
When you write bout music you listen to everything in the fucking world and you’ve heared everything at least once and your tastes get, also, a touch on the wild side.
This is my excuse for dismissing Animal Collective a year ago and loving em today. Panda bear just sounds to fresh.
