“Cabaret” uses six week celebrity cameos, folks like Melanie Griffith (who can neither sing or dance), to goose viewership. According to NYT, Melissa Etheridge is next. Let’s forget for a moment the question as to why ANY ONE AT ALL is going to see the unwatchable dribble known as “AI”. Sure, Spidey sucks, but it sucks in a different way. It sucks like a failed masterpiece.
“AI” is mindboggling garbage with no attempt at a serious book. I bet hard cash it would close fast.
But stunt casting???? That might do it…
