Fiction Factory is of course Iman’s friend Mike Ogletree’s other old band (Simple Minds was first). Mike was cracking Iman up yesterday with the story of how Fiction Factory fired the guy who wrote their one hit single, got rushed into the studio by CBS and subsequently imploded. Mike is working on the true story as to what happened to Fiction Factory for rock nyc. Iman and I might actually join him in Scotland for the gig.
