Amy Klein, guitarist and violin player of Titus Andronicus, as well as half of one of my fave bands of 2010, Hilly Eyes, has her first solo album, I Know What You Want, due out the first week of February.
The album comprises of six tracks written between 2007 and 2010, and if it is all as excellent as the title track, or, the if, anything superior Bedroom Recordings demos, it should be pretty awesome.
They are of a piece with Hilly Eyes -at least in the ambient nature of all three, the feeling of sound for sounds sake: a sort of lush yet dissonant tunefulness.

It starts calm but it builds in sudden leaps, it is like her bedroom recordings meet Stickles.
