Hold It Against Me – Britney Spears – The auto-tune echoey vocals are cool, the beats slipping into dubstep are fabulous. But the song sucks in ways she hsn’t sucked in since pre-Black Out. Of course what it SHOULD HAVE BEEN is “Telephone”, instead it is just Brit working her way through a rhymic hiccup. I think a disappointment. TRACK OF THE WEEK (which just goes to show0
Sick Of you – Cake – They aren’t big enough to be a disappointment, but if theyw ere this would be. Cake are the Spoon of the 90’s and this is a bore.
Chase that (Ambition) – Lecrae – Christian hip hop might be its own reward, and Lecrea has proven his point time and again, but the sample is off and his rhymes are off.
Give It Another Day – Edie Bricknell – Sounds like “What I Am” only worse. I swear this is true.
Who’s That Chick (feat Rihanna) (Extended) – David Guetta – An extra two minutes and a little autotune on Rihanna. Alright with me.
Bohemian Rhapsody – Jake Shimabukuro – Who knew a ukelele had so many notes??? I mean, besides Amanda Palmer.
The Time (Dirty Bit) (Afrojack remix) – The Black Eyed Peas – Much better than the original, they sequenced the fuck outta it and skipped the lamest parts.
Radio – Raphael Saadiq – The old Tony Toni Tone r&b bloke at the top of his game on this 60s style hip mover.
Who Dat Girl (feat Akon) (B. Barz Club Mix) – Flo Rida – A touch dowdy, doesn’t lift off far enough and we already knew the excellent rap.
Internet connection (Tony Senhore remix) – MIA – Come back Vicki Leekx all is forgiven.
She Said (The Killabits Dubstep remix) (feat Leighton Meester) – Stephen Jerzak – I wouldn’t mind spending half my life writing this title out IF THE FUCKING SONG WAS ANY GOOD
What The Hell – Avril Lavigne – Like Joan Jett if she had been eaten alive by a bubble gum machine.
