Beastie Boy Adam Yauch responded to reports last week by sending this missive:
“While I’m grateful for all the positive energy people are sending my way, reports of my being totally cancer free are exaggerated. I’m continuing treatment, staying optimistic and hoping to be cancer free in the near future.”
My feelings about the Beastie Boys is not very well documented here.

Saw em live twice, once an iffy affair at Giants Stadium, and once an excellent benefit for Tibet.
