My Fave Tracks, Wednesday December 29th, 2010 -by Iman Lababedi

1. The Sweetest Taboo – Sade – I have never seen her live so I can not wait for June.
2. A Machine Spiritual (The People’s Key) – Bright Eyes – I’m gonna tell you what Conor already knows: lyric achieves meaning through song. Dunno what to tell you about this song, I won’t decipher until one of these things have happened 1) The lyric works as hook or 2) the hook kicks in. None of the above has occured yet.
3. One for You, One For Me – Bright Eyes – He sounds like an acid casualty
4. Lovergirl – Teena Marie – If you’re a one hit wonder and this is your one hit, youd did good.
5. That’s All She Wrote – T.I. – It’s not that No Mercy lacks melody or rhythm , it is that, not unlike the Spiderman musical, it lacks humor
6. Deathswater – Beans – Weirdest hip hop song I’ve heard in years.
7. Travel Hopefully – John Sherer
8. Play It Loud – BEP
9. Psalm – Roxy Music
10. Summertime – Goldenboy – Strumilicious.
