One part a tenth of Robert Altman’s “Nashville”, one part “All About Eve”, one part country stormer, and all parts crap, the coming attractions to Gwyneth Paltrow’s “Country Strong” made my skin crawl like I was being attacked by flesh eating lice.

Gwyneth has the Bette Davis/Ronee Blakley role and Leighton Meesier plays the Eve as sweet ingenue (if that ain’tenought to amek you puke…). Oh and Tim McGraw is the manager.
The songs sound awful even before you hear em and the entire coming attration is the longest two and a half minutes you’ll ever spend at the movies.
