Iman always talks about ‘the Saint Motel rule of rock’, as if bands did not exist if they hadn’t play on the East Coast! Saint Motel does not need to prove its existence one more time, but the explosive LA band will be nevertheless back in New York, early January.
I could not find a lot of info about this Rock and Roll Circus Party, but it is a two-day event with a few other bands from LA beside Saint Motel, such as the psychedelic rocking Voxhaul Broadcast, the heavy-on-confetti OK Go (yes they live in LA now), and the pianist with an ethereal voice Aska.
Also playing, Nick Zinner, the guy from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the pop punk Japanther, the psychedelic punk from New Orleans The Pharmacy, and the Indies from Brooklyn or New York, Amazing Baby, So So Glos, and Electric Tickle Machine.
It’s all happening under a circus tent, so will there be circus acts at the same time?
