Stereo Skyline: “Stuck On Repeat” -By Mary Magpie

Stereo Skyline from Long Island surely know how to get their album Stuck On Repeat stuck in people’s heads.  The song “Heartbeat” has been the only song I’ve been singing for weeks so I decided to invest in their album.

“Me And You” is adorable and has a nice beat to it.  It sort of reminds me of a song Stephen Jerzak would do, only it’s by a band and not a solo artist.  It’s catchy, the lyrics are cute, and it’s a good pick-me-up.

The most popular song off that album, “Heartbeat”, is almost like a parasite.  Just listening to it once is enough to get it to stick in your head.  It has a quality like no other I can’t seem to put my finger on, but it keeps me coming back for more.

This album was totally worth buying.  The happy tunes are some of the best I’ve heard in a while.  And as a person who isn’t the biggest fan of this closer-to-pop-than-alternative stuff, that’s saying a lot.  Stereo Skyline will have you making their album Stuck On Repeat.
