When it comes to pop music I am about as color neutral as you can be. Of all the things that are interesting about music music, that interests me least.
Music always crosses over.
Or does it?
I once went to see Blackstreet opening for the reunited New Edition (yup, Bobby Brown was with em!!) at MSG and it was a racially monotone audience. Kinda surprised me because I’d always considered “Candy Girl” crossover in the extreme.
Which leads me to the least crossover show in the world, Ferbuary 10th, 2011 at the Theatre In MSG. Unless a couple is practising miscegenation, this show will be blackcentric:
