In fairness, Win is an idiot. Spingsteen released 3 albums in the 1990s, Human Touch, Lucky Town and The Ghost Of tom Joad, and they were all excellent. Men of good faith can debate it, but all three of title songs could be placed on a best of list, as could, as should indeed, “Leap Of Faith” and “Book Of Dreams”.
Still, my point wasn’t that the 1990s sucked for Springsteen, they might not have sold so many copies but they were artistically valid, my point is the 00s sucked, as I have maintained for knocking on two years now.
