First though, Terrible Things is the hmm 3030th band by former
Taking Back Sunday Man Fred Mascharino.
A fellow writer here, said they were terrible. I disagree
I think the new video for their single “Revolution”, is terrible.
Which is why I ask that you not watch it.
Fred is 35ish maybe? His band of former Hot Rod Circuit and Coheed and Cambria guys are up there too.
Now don’t take this the wrong way but they’re too old for this type video.
A bit less chime in vocal close ups would have helped soften the negative but it is what it is….
But the song and the sound, which are most important are exciting and fun. I love the lyrics and I love the sing back, I just wish I didn’t see it.
Terrible Things are not terrible at all. Perhaps this is Fred Mascherino’s big chance to shake of that Taking Back Sunday albatross and make it all new.
Just find a better artistic director next time the camera rolls. All the best guys, I like it!
