No! They would not dare doing this! But it seems serious, UK’s Daily Star is reporting it, other media sources are reporting it, the Beatles are reuniting thanks to technology magic.
Paul McCartney and Ringo Star, the only two Beatles alive in the world, will be performing with digital images of George Harrison and John Lennon on Saturday August 27th 2011. And where is this happening? Right here, in my town, Los Angeles, of course… take that New York City!
They will play with backing musicians at the Hollywood Bowl, a venue they performed at during the 60’s, and of course, the concert is for a good cause, or rather 2 good causes: it will be a benefit for world peace and breast cancer charities.
I wonder how much tickets will cost, a lot probably…
I wonder how they will do this exactly, it’s gonna be weird to see two ‘old’ Beatles playing with two much younger ones… or will they make the digital images look older?
