Phoenix, Passion Pitt, Jack’s Mannequin and Manchester Orchestra is the line up for 101.9 WRXP Presents Matt Pinfield’s Holiday Extravaganza on December 2nd, 2009 at the Hammerstein Ballroom 730p.
Passion Pitt, the folks behind “Sleephead Head” and when I last saw Jack’s Mannequin they were teaching Paramore how it’s done in a thrilling set at Summerstage and Manchester Orchestra are very buzzy right now.
Which leaves French flavor of the moment Phoenix. I saw them on SNL later this year and thought they were pretty lousy and so I haven’t bothered with em lately but my friend Lauren Henn loves em… I don’t know, your call.
