“It’s A Wonderful Life” is by far one of the most amazing films of all time- not of the holidays but of all time.
The Killers, one of the best bands in a long time- not of all time, but of a long time.
Combine the two for a WTF holiday song that made me start off ready to love it- and end with……wtf?
As this video begins with the black and white Jimmy Stewart’s monologue, you cant help but get a bit choked up.
Then we have Brandon Flowers atop a building singing away about reflecting on the past year and then theres churches and street corner karaoke and the big reunion with the family and WTF
1- Don’t attempt an entire Lifetime movie in 5:26. Just don’t
2- Don’t follow Jimmy Stewart with nonsense.
3- Was this tossed together cuz I hear “Crossfire” in the melody.
I would love a real Killers Christmas song, this is just a quick thrown together attempt.
Fell flat, and whats most disturbing, I was psyched.
I will equate this to gilded ribbons and paper surrounding a fruit cake.
