Bryce Avary’s Pet Causes -by Helen Bach

We have interviewed the extremely talented and charismatic Bryce Avary, front man of The Rocket Summer, twice over the past year.
Our first interview done in December of last year Bryce discussed his clothing line
 “Call It Captivate”
Finally the website is up and open for business with a small manageable clothing line who’s profits are split amongst Avarys pet causes.
Listed below from his site:

Holt International Adoption –
give orphaned, abandoned children a safe and nurturing environment in which to develop. Holt’s goal is to carry out God’s plan for every child to have a permanent, loving family through adoption.

These Numbers Have Faces – TNHF is a non-profit organization that works to stop generational poverty in South Africa by providing college scholarships for the youth in the township of Gugulethu. It is their goal that through education, we can give the youth an opportunity to make a positive change in their lives.

The LA Dream Center – A non-profit dedicated to enriching the lives of the less fortunate by giving them purpose and hope. Their mission is to transform the inner city of LA by meeting both tangible and spiritual needs of the people. They offer many opportunities for at-risk youth, low income families to reach self-sufficiency by providing assistance in the areas of counseling, mentorship, education and job training, food, clothing, rehabilitation, and healthcare.

The Miracle League of El Paso – A non-profit which provides children with mental and/or physical disabilities an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league on a safe synthetic rubber field designed to accommodate crutches and wheelchairs. Through donations alone, these children are given an opportunity to have fun with one another through baseball.

The clothing, is reasonably priced and sure to sell well as his fan base is growing by leaps and bounds.  This launch comes at a somber time for Mr. Avary who announced his Grandfather had passed away suddenly over the holiday weekend.  We offer our condolences for his loss and our support to this new expanded endeavour.
