I’ve always loved funky remixes of classic video game songs, but “Kirby Dreamland 3- Canyon” by Entertainment System just takes the cake. Making it completely instrumental, it has a great rhythmic bass and it sortof sounds like one huge guitar solo. So catchy and ten times better than the original, it’s one of the most original I’ve heard. It’s a shame it only lasts 2:21 because I’d love to just listen to it forever.
The driving beat makes you feel like it’s never going to stop, but when it’s about halfway through it becomes more of a groove. Even though the song is instrumental, it’s not boring, which is surprising because usually I can’t stand songs that are just bass, guitar, drums with no vocals. It’s engaging and addicting.
Why don’t they use this version in the next Kirby game?
