My Fave Tracks, Tuesday, November 30th, 2010 -by Iman Lababedi

1. Sur La Pleche – La Femme – There are two things le Francais are not supposed to be able to do. 1) Fight the Germans and 2) rock. La Femme can rock but they are a rock dance band and le Francais can dance so maybe that explains it. This is a weird but tasty track, sorta surf rock in a boring disco. The chick sounds sexy, like if Nico had been born in Paris.

2. Kill All Hippies – Primal Scream – I saw em on this tour and they fucking killed. Just saying.

3. Chattahoochee – Alan Jackson – A bitch to spell.  So is hootchie cootchie

4. If I Give My Soul – Tom Jones – This isn’t gospel or a spiritual. What exactly is it?

5. Chandeliers – Summer Fiction – I don’t hear the heavy sixties influences. More like mediocre pop.

6. Flyin’ High (feat Zac Brown Band) – Kid Rock – Careful or you’ll end up with Willie.

7.Vampire Money – My Chemical Romance – I love the way Gerard says “How about you Miehkeeeey”.

8.Whip My Hair – Willow Smith – Corporal punishment

9. The Train Pt. 2 – Big Boi
10. Who’s That Chick – David Guetta and Rihanna
