So, so far for 2011 I have tix for Lady Gaga and now THE POGUES!!!
And so would you if you lived in New York City and discovered the Pogues would be ending the final tour with a last night on St. Patrick’s Day at (ugh, I know) Terminal 5.
Sure their are some great Irish bands out there: the Saw Doctors, Black 47s, Dropkick Murphys. But the Pogues hold the title of greatest of all time. That’s all.

They are so great “Streams Of Whiskey” -one of the greatest drinking songs ever written, isn’t even the Pogues best song.
