The difference between Bon Jovi and, say, U2, is U2 had moments in their career when they were really great. Bon Jovi have sucked since the get go and have sucked long, hard and always ever since.

No one is worse than Bon Jovi.
So I greet Jon’s news that he is taking a break with hosannahs. He said: “It’s time. We have to go to bed. When you’re going to places that they don’t have their own electricity and you say, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll bring our own,’ it’s time to take a break.”
Unfortunately, he is not retiring.
