Kanye West played the Bowery Ballroom in Soho last night. A tiny club. Tix went on sale, and the entire 550 tix sold out instantaneously. I went on line at noon and tried my luck but nah.
According to the Wall Street Journal, within minutes of the sell out, tix were available at ebay. For $100,000. On Craigslist they were selling at 5K a pop.
meanwhile the world of tweets went crazy with the award for best tweet going to writer and critic Chris Weingarten who tweeted: “I just bought like four Kanye tickets. He’s playing the Bell House, right?”
