I’ve listened to a coupla albums worth of Cash’s Gospel music and I think he is pretty good. Not Ray Charles. Not even George Jones. But he isn’t bad. And Johnny is to be Inducted into the Gospel Hall of fame onJan. 24 in Hendersonville, Tenn.
According to Billbaord: “Cash was raised on gospel music and famously turned to religion and Christian music midway through his career in search of a way to beat his problems with addiction.”
OK, sure, why not. Congrats to Johnny and now it is time for me the go in search of my Cash does Gospel stuff.
