DFA Recording Artists and the proud subjects of a well over four minute interview by rock nyc and and and, the bext remixers around, do such a spendid job on “Somebody To Love Me” that, for me at least, they save the Boy George sung track off Mark Ronson’s iffy Record Collector.
The song was a little overwarmed t as recorded, and Holy Ghost! through three rounds of percussion at the song and it never stops thumping. Boy George’s vocal maybe victimized but the song comes out a fresh dancefloor discofied killa dilla.
When I interviewed Holy Ghost I asked em where I could buy their remix of “Drunk Girls” and they claimed it was available. No it isn’t. Before the first album is released, they should put together their best remixes.
