Sycophantic Documentarian Gil Reyes Tussles With Alyson Camus

It isn’t me who called Gil Reyes documentary ‘Searching for Elliott Smith’ movie a vehicle for Jennifer Chiba to prove her innocence. Check out these 2 reviews:
‘Searching for Elliott Smith Should Actually Be Called The Vindication of Jennifer Chiba’

‘Is Gil Reyes Banging Jennifer Chiba?’

But still an exchange I had with Gil Reyes these last days on his website, made me think he is very easily out of arguments.

He was having a little talk with some fans on his facebook account, saying that he had emailed Autumn de Wilde, asking her to participate in his movie and that she had never answered him. The funny part was that a fan was saying he had emailed Autumn about her book and had received an answer.
Anyway, reading this exchange, I wrote about what Autumn said in the NME issue with Elliott on the cover, suggesting she would certainly not have participated to the documentary knowing that Jennifer Chiba was in it.
Then Gil Reyes, began to answer, seemingly ignoring my remark, saying that anyone he could contact who knew Elliott well had been invited to speak.

Invited? Sure, but that was not my point!

So I posted the entire quote from Autumn, the one that can be found in the October 30th issue, where she says Elliott wasn’t around the type of people she could have trusted, the one where she says he was surrounded by sycophants, and so did not know what could have happened.
And then Reyes answered he had the article and that it did not say that Autumn wouldn’t have participated if Jennifer Chiba did. Wtf? Was he doing it on purpose?

Of course she did not say she did not want to participate in his documentary, that would have been giving too much attention to his questionable documentary, but I thought her words were pretty clear, may be he does not understand what sycophant means?
But the more pathetic thing in the story is that he tried to intimidate me. I write under a pen name  and then began to answer, first using the initial of my  real first name, then my full first name, then my complete name.

What was he trying to do? Scare me? In a I-know-your-real-name-so-be-afraid kind of way?

Then he claimed I ‘wildly speculate a lot’ and spread rumors on the internet!

I was just quoting Autumn de Wilde, without changing a word, and I just thought it was a very cheap tactic to avoid my criticism.
