1. Mojo So Dope – Kid Cudi – Sounds like trip meets hip hop -the rap is just stunning , Cudi so strange and the mood manic depressive, dark, druggy. A great, great song. A must own.
2. Synapses – Papercranes – Smells of Hollywood royalty slumming but doesn’t sound like Hollywood royalty slumming. Indie folk heard from a distance.
3. All I Want (London Session) – LCD Soundsystem – Second best song off the latest, gets the sound effects stripped off, and the speed upped a smidge. Pointless? Yeah, pointless but not COMPLETELY useless. I mean, it is a terrific song.
4. Perfect Day – Susan Boyle – Three of the first four songs here are totally bizarre. The one that isn’t is LCD. Go figure.

6. You Rascal You – Hanni El Khatib – Yeah, yeah. I like the Black Keys as well. But this is not a very good idea. I mean, if you wanna rewrite a standard, why cover it to start with? And if you are gonna rewrite it, “rascal” is gonna sound completely anachronistic.
7. Birthday – Kings Of Leon – Think the album has dogged it yet?

10. I Can Change (London Sessions) – LCD Soundsystem – New Cee Lo isn’t kicking in. Hmmmmm….
