The buzz is this is in preparation for Googles launch of ‘cloud’ based down loading. I believe it will be very difficult for Google to break iTunes stride.
I wouldnt mind it of course its good for business but amazing enough I rarely use iTunes I actually by CD’s. I go to record shops, not indies cuz Im not a freak, but I go to stores and buy plastic cuz I like it. I may grab a song now and then, but most of my music is in disc form transferre to my pc. Crazy aint it.

I remember holding a microphone and a cassette player up to the radio when I was a kid and praying the phone didnt ring or the dj wouldnt talk before the song was up.
