There are songs you hear that you sorta go.. what?
For some reason this song gave me a Steely Dan feel on the chorus. But then it went all white boy Robery Cray..
then well I got lost.
So then it hit a sorta of Neil Finn vibe..
Yet its Mr. Some Day Some Way”, Marshall Crenshaw.
This is the problem with artists famous for one song. You never realy find their full sound. You pigeon hole them into the one sound they hit the airwaves.
What an injustice.
This song is awesome! I love the hollow sound in the guitars. Its just a great song with some fantastic lyrics. Written nearly a million years ago.. yet more timely today than ever.
The video below is a different version than the one I was sent, but its still quite good.
