My Fave Tracks, Friday November 5th, 2010 -by Iman Lababedi

1. Never Grow Up – Taylor Swift – Smartest line, Taylor singing to a kid (to herself): “remember she’s growing old too”, about the mother.

2. Waltz # 2 XO – Elliott Smith – During the seance I had performed to reach Elliott during the Summer, he thanked me for supporting his music. Meh. I guess he doesn’t read rock nyc. Sacrilege? What a drear song.

3. You Gave Your Love To Me Softly – Weezer – The “El Scortcho” b side evokes a one night stand with an a sweetness that leads to unbridled joy. One of Weezer’s greats ongs.

4. Spring Clean – Johanna And The Dusty Floor – Get this song on a TV show or a commercial and it will hit big.

5. Speak Now – Taylor Swift – After Titus? the song of the year.

6. Hello Goodmorning – Sick Of Sarah – Can a great hook make a song? “Check your, I want you to know I get that a lot”.

7. Paper Planes – This Century
8. It’s OK – Cee Lo Green – when is this guy playing? Beacon theatre please…

9. My Song (demo) – Joe Steinhardt – The second song? When is he releasing this…??? I am gagging to really write about it.
