The band that I would say are the biggest posers of all time.
They’re like Satanic theatre kids. They think they’re all big and bad with their ultra scary masks and listing on their Facebook page that their genre is “metal”.
Everyone knows they’re not even close to being a metal band. Slipknot is basically the definition of a stupid poser band. I can honestly say that their lyrics mean nothing, and their sound is just atrocious and messy.
I can also say that their masks used to scare me but now it’s just a joke. It seems that they put too much effort into their appearance than their music. I don’t think I’ve hated a band more than Slipknot.
From what I can gather their ‘maggot” fans are just kids who feel the need to shock and disturb their parents. They think its ‘cool’ to like something so ‘out there’, when the truth is, its bad theater done by has beens.
Best news of all is I believe after the unfortunate death of their bassists they have thrown in the latex (masks). Phew, could be over with. Kids nothing more to look at here.
At least they can give me a good laugh every now and then.
