Co-editor Helen Bach and I once had a fight because she was pushing me to find out what CMJ stood for and I couldn’t be bothered. It stands for College Media Journal -a big time buzz sheet.
Last year, rock nyc managed to complete ignore it (I wrote one snide put down in a post, raved about Sleigh bells in another, that was it) but this time round we are too deep into the local scene to ENTIRELY ignore it.
