Don Henley doesn’t feel well so The Eagles are postponing some shows
Have you ever seen Henley? Almost 20 years ago I had the distinct pleasure of joining him back stage at a local show.
Although very articulate and strangely scented Mr Henley didn’t exactly seem the picture of health then. Didn’t The Eagles break up like a million times too?
So far three shows in Texas and one show in Florida are impacted by the sick guy.Reports say he is ‘ailing’ which really doesn’t conjure up the image of the flu, does it. Sounds sorta scary.
Although not an Eagles or Henley fan (and before you say wtf were you doing back stage at his show if you don’t like the band, I’ll simply state I attended with a fan, and leave it at that.)”Hotel California” was part of the soundtrack for most of our youths. Such vivid imagery and such repetition. I may not like them but I do very much respect them.
I’m pleased to say I was able to park my feelings to at least thank Don for the legacy of work he had produced and a jab about the idiocy of the song ‘Desparado’
So lets all send out a good vibe to DH that whatever is ailing him with skedaddle tout sweet so his fans can catch the band before they break up yet again.
