Lemmy, Motörhead’s legendary front man and bassist and probably the closest thing there has ever been to a rock god, is getting his own documentary/rockumentary. Titled, fittingly, “Lemmy,” the film follows Lemmy as he lives his booze-soaked and drug-laced hard rock life and features interviews with other luminaries such as Slash, Ozzy, Alice Cooper, Mick Jones, C.C. Deville, and more. If a quarter of the things that are said about Lemmy are true, this should be one hell of a film.
“Lemmy” was first screened at SXSW this year and has already received some lofty praise. Though there is currently no set release date, a new trailer was recently released that you can watch at
When this bad boy comes out I’ll be sure to review it here.
